Nagasaki University is a comprehensive university with 10 faculties and 6 graduate schools, we have created a strong foundation for students to learn and research across a wide range of fields.
Research and education at Nagasaki University are based on the theme of “Fusion.” From our experience with the COVID-19 pandemic, global conflicts that threaten world peace, and natural disasters on a global scale, we have learned that issues are multifaceted and cannot be solved by a single discipline alone. To address these challenges effectively, different research and education fields must work together to create new knowledge and solutions. In other words, collaboration and the fusion of expertise are essential for applying research to real-world problems.
