On November 21–22, 2025, Mr. Jaewoo Lee, a doctoral student in the Course of Marine Future Science at the Graduate School of Integrated Science and Technology (affiliated with the Institute for East China Sea Research, ECSER), received the “Student Poster Award” at the 23rd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Aquaculture Science and the 13th Japan-Korea Aquaculture Symposium held in Nagasaki City.

The title of his award-winning presentation was: “Investigation of Germ Cell Markers in the Kisslip Cuttlefish Sepia lycidas via Tissue-Specific Gene Expression Analysis” (Authors: Jaewoo Lee, Ryosuke Murata, Kiyoshi Soyano)
