On November 1–2, 2025, the Fukushima Institute for Research, Education and Innovation (F-REI) International Symposium was successfully held in Naraha Town, Fukushima Prefecture, with management of Nagasaki University.

The symposium brought together representatives from domestic and foreign universities and research institutions working in the field of collection and dissemination of data and knowledge related to nuclear disasters, along with international organizations and committees such as the ICRP and IAEA, which specialize in nuclear disaster medical science. Participants engaged in meaningful discussions on collaboration with F-REI and future initiatives.

The event was a great success, with over 100 participants joining both on-site and online.
