In Memory of Pope Francis: We Are Deeply Saddened to Hear of the Passing of Pope Francis and Extend Our Heartfelt Condolences
We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Pope Francis and extend our heartfelt condolences.
Pope Francis consistently spoke out against the inhumanity of nuclear weapons worldwide. During his visit to Nagasaki in November 2019, he delivered a powerful message to the global community: “A world without nuclear weapons is possible and necessary.” His words continue to inspire and support our aspiration to ensure that Nagasaki remains the last site to ever suffer a nuclear attack.
We will carry forward his call for dialogue as a means to resolve global conflicts and remain committed to pursuing knowledge toward the realization of a world free from nuclear weapons.
We deeply respect Pope Francis’s significant contributions to the global community and extend our sincere condolences.
