Health Systems Global Board Members Paid Courtesy Visit to President Nagayasu Ahead of HSR2024 in Nagasaki
The 8th Global Symposium on Health Systems Research 2024 (HSR2024), the most prestigious international symposium in the field of health systems and policy, will be held at the Dejima Messe Nagasaki from November 18 to 22, 2024. The event is co-hosted by Nagasaki University and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
HSR, organized biennially by Health Systems Global (HSG), is a global organization of researchers, policymakers, and practitioners in health policy—it is the world’s largest international symposium focused on scientific and practical discussions about health systems and policies.
Members of the board of Health Systems Global (HSG), the organizing body, visited Nagasaki from May 20 to 22 for a venue inspection and a board meeting.
On May 20th, they paid a courtesy visit to President Takeshi Nagayasu at Nagasaki University to express their gratitude for the university’s support in preparing the event. During the meeting, HSG Chair Adnan Hyder (George Washington University) expressed appreciation for Nagasaki University’s comprehensive support in making HSR2024 a success. The meeting also included other Nagasaki University officials, who discussed further specific cooperation plans.
Through hosting HSR2024, Nagasaki University aims to contribute further to the global health field. We look forward to welcoming participants from around the world and sincerely appreciate your continued cooperation and support as we prepare for this significant event.
