Associate Professor Hitoshi Hotokezaka from the Division of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, Nagasaki University Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, presented a poster titled “Inhibition of 12/15-lipoxygenase reduces orthodontically induced root resorption by suppressing hyaline degeneration and subsequent odontoclast differentiation in rats” at the 99th European Orthodontic Society Congress held from June 9 to 13, 2024, at the Megaron Athens International Conference Centre in Greece. His research was highly evaluated and received the Best Scientific Poster Award.
This award, judged by the European Orthodontic Society, selects the best scientific and clinical posters of the year. A certificate was presented at the award ceremony.
