On December 19, 2025, Nagasaki University held an unveiling ceremony for the signboard of the newly established Global Admissions Office. The ceremony was attended by Trustee Yasutake, in charge of Student and International Affairs, Vice President Jiang, in charge of International Exchange, and other officials of Nagasaki University.

This office has been established as part of the Program for Forming Japan’s Peak Research Universities (J-PEAKS*). It will provide comprehensive support for prospective international graduate school students, including assistance with applications, outreach activities, and academic and daily-life support both before and after their arrival in Japan.

Under the J-PEAKS initiative, the university aims to become a global leader through the realization of Planetary Health**, promoting innovation that contributes to solving global-scale issues, driving social transformation, and achieving improvements that directly impact people’s lives.
