Promoting Academic Exchange with Seoul National University School of Dentistry — Productive Meeting with the Dean and Faculty Members to Explore Future Student Mobility
In September 17, 2025, Professor Hiroshi Murata (former Dean and current member of the International Exchange Committee, Nagasaki University School of Dentistry) visited the Seoul National University School of Dentistry, a university-level MoU partner institution, on the occasion of attending the ISO/TC106 Annual Meeting (International Organization for Standardization – Technical Committee on Dentistry) held in Seoul, South Korea.
During the visit, Professor Murata held meetings with Dean Young-Seok Park and other senior faculty members, participated in a campus tour, and exchanged views on short-term student exchange programs and clinical training opportunities. The Seoul National University faculty expressed strong interest in future collaboration, making this visit a meaningful first step toward developing concrete student exchange initiatives.
This visit was made possible with the generous support of Professor Hong of the Global Strategy Office at Tohoku University, and also provided a valuable opportunity to discuss potential tri-university collaboration among Nagasaki, Tohoku, and Seoul in the future.
The Nagasaki University School of Dentistry remains committed to further promoting international academic partnerships, particularly within the Asian region.
