On May 29, 2025, the 1st NUNU (Naresuan University-Nagasaki University) mini FORUM was held, bringing together experts to discuss the application of cutting-edge technologies in medicine.

The theme was “Innovation in Diagnostics: AI, Machine Learning, and Statistical Innovations in Laboratory and Health Diagnostics,” and the discussion explored how these technologies can enhance diagnostic accuracy and treatment outcomes from multiple perspectives.

The three-hour session featured speakers from Nagasaki University and various universities in Thailand, who shared their expertise and research findings. Around 50 participants joined both in person and via Zoom, and Q&A sessions were lively.

The forum was organized by Dr. Kittisak Thawnasom, a Nagasaki University alumnus and faculty member at Naresuan University, serving as the Thailand Chapter Representative of NUGAN (Nagasaki University Global Alumni Network). It provided a platform for academic exchange among international experts.
