On April 3, 2025, Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence (SNIoE) and Nagasaki University held an online signing ceremony for an academic exchange agreement over Zoom.

SNIoE, located in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, was established in 2011 and is recognized as a prestigious institution. It is renowned for its contributions to the engineering and natural science fields.

The signing ceremony was attended by Vice-Chancellor Ananya Mukherjee, along with other faculty and staff members. Representing Nagasaki University were President NAGAYASU Takeshi, Trustee for Student and International Affairs ITO Masako, and Associate Professor KIYOTA Tomoko of the Office for Global Relations, who served as witnesses to the signing of the agreement.

SNIoE will also be a key destination in Nagasaki University’s upcoming India training program. With numerous shared research interests between the two institutions, this agreement marks a significant step toward enhancing academic collaboration, student exchanges, and joint research initiatives. Both universities look forward to a deeper, more productive partnership going forward.
