On March 7th 2025, Mr. Du Kewei, Minister Counsellor for Education at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China visited Nagasaki University, and embassy staff visited our university and met with President Nagayasu Takeshi and relevant officers.

At the meeting, President Nagayasu introduced the history of Nagasaki University and its distinctive curricula. In addition, there was a discussion regarding future cooperation between China and Japan, in which there was an expression of hope for further development of relations and increased student exchange.

After the courtesy visit, Minister-Counselor Du and his delegation also took a tour of the Bunkyo campus and visited the Graduate School of Engineering. They also became acquainted with Chinese students studying at Nagasaki University and talked with the students about how they have been spending their time in Japan.
