The research conducted by Professor Asako Yamayoshi in Chemistry of Biofunctional Molecules, Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (Pharmaceutical Sciences), and Fellow researchers were featured on the cover of ACS Biomaterials Science & Engineering published by the American Chemical Society.
This study developed a new technique to detect methylation modifications on genes using light.
We look forward to the development of genetic diagnosis technology that reveals the relationship between the position and amount of methylation modifications in the gene sequence we want to know and diseases.
